Marovo Medical Foundation
A non-profit organization that leads groups of doctors/nurses/dentists/helpers to the Solomon Islands twice a year for two weeks at a time. The group visits local villages as well as the local hospital. They also continue to improve the infrastructure of the local hospital located at Seghe. They have fundraised and installed the country’s largest solar power system on the hospital to provide desperately needed electricity and running water. They serve a population of 30,000 that currently has no doctor.
